White goods (stove, freezers, refrig) per item 10.00
Tires Per car tire 8.00
Per truck tire 16.00
Per tractor tire 40.00
Car load 6.00
Small trailer load 8.00
Pickup load 10.00
Single axle truck 20.00
Tandem truck or trailer 50.00
Non residents of the City of Cando shall pay double the rates above
Leaves and grass clippings - No charge for city residents
Leaves and grass clippings – Non residents per cubic yard 6.00
THE FOLLOWING WASTES ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT THE LANDFILL
1. Infectious waste
2. Hazardous Waste
3. Household waste
4. Pesticides Containers
5. Waste oil and filters
6. Lead acid batteries
7. Paint residue and paint cans
8. Slaughterhouse waste
9. Raw sewage sludge, animal manure, septic tank pumpings.
10. Any waste that the Department of Health has advised of being toxic or having an adverse environmental characteristics.
11. Liquids
12. Ash from incinerators, resource recovery facilities and power plants.
13. Foundry Waste
14. Asbestos
15. Oilfield drilling mud and related wastes.
16. Polychlorinated Bipheapls (PCB)
17. Petroleum Contaminated Soil Except that generated by the City
18. Asphalt Shingles
If you do not conform to these regulations, you are subject to a $100.00 fine
