Some quick reminders........
Open burning is prohibited in the city, although we do allow commercial fire pits. These pits must have side screens and a lid to keep embers inside. Only wood may be burned. Habitual violation of this law is an infraction and subject to a $100.00 fine for each instance. Use common sense when burning!
The Fourth of July is just around the corner and this is a reminder of the change to the ordinance that allows more time for use. Check the newspaper or ask an officer for details.
Also help our street department...Grass clippings are not to be mowed into the street as they may plug the storm drains, Also a reminder of the 72 hour parking law now that the sweeper is out. We will be called if the sweeper has to continually go-around the same parked vehicles.
