Criminal History:
Johnson was convicted in 1996 for Sexual Assault – Johnson was having intercourse with a 17 YOA girl and would not stop when she found out he was not wearing a condom and resisted
Johnson was convicted in 1999 for Gross Sexual Imposition – Johnson fondled three young girls on several occasions when they were visiting at his home.
‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐The Cando Police Department is releasing the following information pursuant to North Dakota Criminal Code 12.1‐32‐15, which authorizes law enforcement agencies to disclose sex offender information if the agency determines that the individual is a public risk and disclosure is necessary for public protection. High Risk sex offenders are individuals who have been convicted of a sex offense. Their criminal history places them in a classification level which reflects the potential to re‐offend.
The offender is not wanted by the police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community but to inform.
